“Pehesara Abhiman” – 2025
“Pehesara Abhiman,” the annual cultural extravaganza organized to showcase the artistic talents of the officers of the Warakapola Divisional Secretariat, enhance their job satisfaction, and foster teamwork, unity, and camaraderie among staff members, was once again held in a grand and colorful manner at the Parakum Open-Air Theatre of the Warakapola Divisional Secretariat.
Under the guidance and leadership of Warakapola Divisional Secretary Mr. Rangana Sajeeva, and with the support of Assistant Divisional Secretary Mrs. Shashika Koralage, other senior officers, the Cultural Affairs Unit, and the entire office staff, a vibrant and entertaining cultural program was successfully organized.
The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Hon. Manoj Rajapaksa, Member of Parliament for the Kegalle District, Mrs. Kusum Bandara, Additional District Secretary (Administration), Kegalle, Mr. Dilip Nishantha, Additional District Secretary (Lands), and Mrs. Malsha L. Priyadarshani, Assistant District Secretary, along with many other invited dignitaries.
Filled with captivating dance performances, musical presentations, and artistic performances, Pehesara Abhiman 2025 won the hearts and minds of the audience. The spectacular performances provided a refreshing and enjoyable respite from the demands and pressures of daily official duties, creating memorable moments for all who attended.
