As part of the “Praja Shakthi” National Programme, which was launched with the objective of eradicating poverty, empowering communities, and building a prosperous nation, the official appointment letters were ceremonially presented to the Chairpersons and Secretaries of the Community Development Councils in the Warakapola Division on 03 November 2025.

The Regional Literary and Arts Festival “Panhindaka Mansala”, organized by the Warakapola Divisional Secretariat, was held in a grand and colorful manner on 09 October 2025 at the Parakum Open-Air Theatre.

“Pehesara Abhiman,” the annual cultural extravaganza organized to showcase the artistic talents of the officers of the Warakapola Divisional Secretariat, enhance their job satisfaction, and foster teamwork, unity, and camaraderie among staff members, was once again held in a grand and colorful manner at the Parakum Open-Air Theatre of the Warakapola Divisional Secretariat.
